The first time I came to Thailand was about 27 years ago.
A family holiday - my mum, my dad, my brother and I.
I didn’t know then that I would ever come back, never mind how many times!
Neither did I know how much this country would come to mean to me; the wonderful life events that would happen for me here (I love you Alexey) nor the comfort it would bring me whenever I was lucky enough to come back - thank you for sunshine and for the smiles.
I’ve done little, if anything, to deserve the life I’ve led but having spent the last week here by myself, I feel more connected and more grateful than ever, for it.
For all my memories, the people I’ve met (and those that I love) as well all the experiences, I have been so fortunate to have had.
Life is a weird and wonderful thing and while it can be really hard sometimes (I miss you mama and I wish I could lay on the beach and have a beer with you, just one last time), it really is worth living.
I highly recommend it 😉
