Hands up who needs to drink more water 🙋🙋
If I am at home working in the study I am ALL OVER getting the correct water intake. I pop a jug on the desk and it is gone in no time.
But if I am not at the desk...there can be days where I am lucky to get one glass in before lunch time when I realise I am dying with thirst.
One thing that has been helping me drink more lately is making a big jug of fruit infused water at night before bed, and sipping on it all the next day.
Oranges are not in season here (it's the middle of summer), but when my mum and dad were here for a wee break they bought a big bag, and it has been sitting in the fridge ever since. No offence to oranges, but when there's peaches, nectarines and mangoes on offer, no one is going to be jumping for an orange. Am I right?
Rather than letting them go to waste I have been pairing them with my mint that is going CRAZY after all the summer sun and the last 2 weeks of rain.
This minty orange concoction is delicious, refreshing and great for increasing your water intake.
