There's good customer service, and there's stellar customer relations.
A while ago I received my Advent Calendar from @thirstybeershop with great anticipation after reading all the rave reviews. The daily unboxing has been a great source of amusement, hence I was a little surprised to receive an email saying some boxes may contain a product issue behind Door 20, and to please check - a $5 online voucher compensation will be issued if we are affected.
Sure enough, my can in Door 20 was turgidly threatening to explode; I requested store credit instead, and they did one better, offering to send me a replacement to my doorstep!🤩
The story should have happily ended here except PLOT TWIST! the delivery never arrive as scheduled, I had even went out my way to make sure I was home to receive it. I sent @thirstybeershop an email wailing about it, and they responded with an image that showed SOMEONE HAD SIGNED TO ACCEPT MY BEER! 😱🤯
Nice try, whoever you are, but that's not MY signature, and after some verification, @thirstybeershop offered to send another to make up for it. This is despite the fact that they were not responsible for the forgery incident. Let this be a heads up for all businesses and customers to clearly verify orders, especially if delivery has been outsourced to 3rd parties - the opportunity for theft or scamming exists.
My replacement beer arrived yesterday and @thirstybeershop gave me not one but TWO beers. 🤗❤
Not only did they bear the cost of the original error, but also the delivery cheat, to protect my interest as a consumer. And then they threw in an extra. This is how a business wins customer loyalty. You can bet I will never get beers from anywhere but @thirstybeershop after this.
