”Patience” is an act of allowing; knowing, and quiet anticipation. It is fluid, changing, and constantly in motion. It is powerful, empowering, and confident choice that requires your active, conscious participation throughout.
While, ”Waiting” is a passive, stagnant act, lacking energy, movement, or active participation. It can be frustrating, stressful, and emotionally unpredictable. It is an inert, submissive, and unempowered choice that does not require much of you once the decision to wait has been made. 《The Soul’s Agenda》————
I came across this book that opens my mind about the differences between being patient and waiting. Throughout the years in almost anything I involved in, my time were dedicated to wait. Be it when I was an engineer or someone in production line, or managing a project, I require a lot of patience in waiting. During the waiting process, I sometimes notice the irritable me, the pushy, impatience, most of the time -pretty stressful- in order to get things done on time. I believe it has been part of who I am. In my photography there's just so much of demotivations, frustrations, self doubt, and waiting. The book make me realize how stagnant my actions was, it blocked my creativity and does 0% benefit in whatever I decided to do.
Being patient is a different thing.
The best time for transition before moving on into the year of 2020 is NOW 🌳🍂🍁🌱🌷 Wait NO MORE.
