Bible teaching is allowing the Bible explain itself, not interpreting a verse in isolation but by its surrounding verses.
Romans 8:28-29 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
The Call, Purpose and Predestination are not for things
who you would marry, what you would wear, or the career you would enroll in every
day of your life.
The predestination is to be conformed to the image of His Son.
This is what He pre-planned for us. God determined beforehand that we would be conformed to the image of the Son.
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, those He also glorified.
Romans 8:31-32 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
All things here are not material things, Remember what the preceding verses emphasized *Purpose, Predestination, Calling, Justification and glorification*
God not sparing His Son is love, not judgment. And with Him, He gave us all things. Not things as food, cars, shoes and clothes but in context, those same things * predestination, calling,
justification and glorification*. The Giving His Son is how He gave us all these things.
In the ending verse, it emphasized that Nothing can separate us from all His
love has done for us; in that Christ died for us, the wages of sin has been paid and He rose to dwell in our hearts., we have his spirit, We have all things... Glory to God!
