Much of the coaching industry has been so disheartening. I see massive change in my clients’ lives and coaches have changed my life too.
Yet, I see so many coaches and other healing and helping entrepreneurs struggling to attract clients and make their business work.
I struggled in the beginning too, and in the very early years of my business, mostly out of desperation, I wasted countless hours watching free business trainings, which sucked me into online courses, promising me clients and $$$. I dropped $1k here, $297 there and another $97 somewhere else and so on. Over time, that really added up!
These people had me believing that the only way to “make it” was to do what they were saying. That 1:1 client work was a bottle neck in my business and passive income was the way to go. And that I needed all these tools and website widgets to do who knows what.
Over time, I realized I didn't need to buy everything that every marketing guru was selling. I learned I could create a profitable, sustainable coaching business that’s simple, streamlined and inexpensive to maintain.
Just like how I tell my clients in dating, I could make my own rules!
I learned this the hard way when I got myself into real trouble because I was spending waaaay too much on my business and spending ridiculous amount of time tinkering my website and “perfecting” my Instagram feed. (Honestly, who the freak cares?) The point is, getting clients is easier than you think. Business is easier than you think. Our minds is what complicates it.
In this week's episode on the Love Life Connection, I recorded a bit of a different episode for you based on a question I've been getting a lot lately, "Can I pick your brain?" If we were to talk on the phone, just you and me, what I'd tell you is exactly what I say in this episode.
I'm share with you the three areas of your business you need to focus on to attract your dream clients quickly and more sustainably, and what you can let go of.
Even if you aren’t in business for yourself, if you’re curious to see my business with the curtains pulled back, I think you’ll find this episode interesting. :) Link to listen is in my bio!
